Agha Raza condemned the horrific and inhuman blasts targeting female students of Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women University, Bolan Medical College and the historic Quaid-e-Azam Residency. He also paid tribute to late Deputy Commissioner Quetta Abdul Mansoor Khan Kakar who laid his life while performing his duties.
He said that the fanatical religious terrorists who targeted the female students of SBK Women University, Bolan Medical College and also martyred the DC Quetta must be apprehended and punished along with those who train, fund, facilitate and brainwash them. He said that the state needs to realize the threat posed by the religious terrorist organizations and take up a multi-pronged strategy to solve the issue. The terrorists not only have to be apprehended and punished, but the mindset that breeds terrorists must also be changed. The organizations, seminaries, and countries that support terrorist organizations must be identified and their activities curbed.
He also condemned the act of sabotage of the historic and symbolic Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat. He said that resorting to terrorism in the name of deprivations is no solution to the problems of the people of the province.
He appealed to the people of Pakistan, and Balochistan in particular, to stand up against the terrorist mindset and marginalize them so that the state is compelled to take them to task.
