Two boats carrying 35 and 10 asylum seekers respectively have been intercepted in Australian waters in the last Three days.
The first boat had been detected and intercepted by the HMAS Albany, operating under the control of Border Protection Command north of Christmas Island on Tuesday night. It was carrying 35 passengers and two crew members.
The second boat that intercepted by HMAS Pirieoperating under the control of Border Protection Command north-west of Browse Island overnight. There were 10 asylum seekers and two crew members on board.
