A message from Hazara News Facebook user
Salam!
A friend of who works for BBC is interested in making a documentary about Hazara Genocide. Here is what he is asking for, any help would be great! thanks!
Mohsin,
BBC Editor's Request
I hope all is good with you.If it could possible don't hesitate to help him.
I'd be grateful for some advice on something. I'm interested in making a documentary on the persecution of Hazara community in PK.
There's been a lot of news coverage of recent incidents but I'm more interested in doing something in depth.
I have 2 questions for you.
1) What do you think should be explored in such a documentary? What are some of the social/religious/political factors that result in discrimination? What factors do you think are sometimes overlooked by mainstream media?
2) Are you in touch with people who you think would make valuable contributions? Do you know anyone that has lost family members that I could potentially speak to? Are there any activists that are fighting back?
Any help you can offer will be really appreciated. I have a meeting with my Editor on Monday morning so it would be great if you could give me a shout over the weekend.
Many thanks
